Entiendes los mensajes de error. Pero cuando el tech lead pregunta \u00ab\u00bfalguna preocupaci\u00f3n con este approach?\u00bb en el daily, te quedas en silencio y escribes tu comentario en el chat despu\u00e9s de la reuni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>No es falta de conocimiento t\u00e9cnico. Es que el ingl\u00e9s que aprendiste no incluye la parte que tu trabajo usa todos los d\u00edas: pedir cambios en un code review sin sonar agresivo, explicar por qu\u00e9 un bug es m\u00e1s grave de lo que parece, defender una estimaci\u00f3n en un sprint planning.<\/p>\n<p>En esta gu\u00eda te damos el vocabulario, las estructuras y las frases hechas que los equipos de desarrollo usan de verdad. Nada de listas de 100 palabras sueltas: solo lo que vas a decir esta semana.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Por qu\u00e9 el ingl\u00e9s define tu techo como desarrollador<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>La industria tecnol\u00f3gica se comunica en ingl\u00e9s por defecto. Los nombres de las funciones, la documentaci\u00f3n oficial, los issues de GitHub, las respuestas de Stack Overflow y las release notes de cualquier framework nacen en ingl\u00e9s y muchas veces se quedan ah\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Eso ya lo sab\u00edas. Lo que suele sorprender es d\u00f3nde aparece el l\u00edmite real:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>En las promociones.<\/b> Pasar de dev a tech lead o arquitecto significa presentar, negociar prioridades y explicar decisiones t\u00e9cnicas a personas no t\u00e9cnicas. Casi siempre, en ingl\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>En los salarios remotos.<\/b> Las vacantes de empresas de Estados Unidos y Europa que contratan en Latinoam\u00e9rica piden ingl\u00e9s conversacional, no ingl\u00e9s de lectura. Para trabajar en un equipo internacional, necesitas <b>B2 como m\u00ednimo<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>La raz\u00f3n es concreta. En un B2 puedes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Seguir una conversaci\u00f3n entre varias personas que hablan r\u00e1pido y se interrumpen (es decir: cualquier daily real).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Explicar un problema t\u00e9cnico sin preparar la frase antes.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Discrepar con una propuesta y proponer una alternativa en el mismo turno de palabra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si est\u00e1s en A2 o B1, la buena noticia es que el ingl\u00e9s t\u00e9cnico es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de lo que parece: el vocabulario es limitado y repetitivo, y muchas palabras ya las usas en espa\u00f1ol sin traducirlas.
